Our Story
Welcome to our wild little world — we’re so glad you’re here.

Every great nursery has roots — and ours grew straight out of love, laughter, and a shared obsession with plants.
We’re Kaylor and Kaitlin — just a quirky little family whose plant collection got wildly out of hand. What started as a fun hobby quickly took over our home and our lives. We realized we weren’t just growing plants anymore — we were growing something bigger. So, we decided to turn our passion into a full-blown nursery and creative space.
But we hit a wall when it came to finding the right name. Everything felt too serious, too generic, too… not us. So we set it aside, knowing it would come when it was meant to.
Then one day — while Kaitlin was off visiting family in Oklahoma — Kaylor stayed home, spent some time with the mushrooms, and hung out in the greenhouse. Somewhere in that dreamy, earthy haze, the name Bigfoot’s Rockeaters came to him.
It made perfect sense.
Bigfoot — the mythical being who reminds us to stay wild, be playful, and walk gently on the earth.
Rockeaters — a nod to the incredible resilience of cacti, who root into stone and draw life from the minerals within.
The name captured everything we stand for: mystery, grit, humor, wonder, and beauty in the unexpected. It stuck — and the rest is history.
Now, Bigfoot’s Rockeaters is more than just a nursery. It’s a family-owned creative space in Kingsville, Texas, where you’ll find hand-selected plants, handmade pottery, soul-soothing yoga, and a whole lot of love. We’re rooted in community, built on creativity, and always growing.
